ADHD in Children
ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD is a neurobehavioral disorder (A behavioral disorder that is related to the brain). ADHD is a condition that impacts a child’s ability to focus, pay attention and sit still. Children with ADHD are fidgety and easily distracted. This makes it difficult for them to stay on task whether it is listening to a parent/teacher or not finishing a chore. A child with ADHD often thinks and acts impulsively.
Three core symptoms of ADHD:
- Difficulty paying attention

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
ADD stands for Attention Deficit Disorder, is a disorder affecting children, adolescents, and adults characterized by short attention span, and poor concentration without the restlessness.
Depression
Depression is a common but serious mental illness typically marked by sad or anxious feelings. Untreated depression last for a long time and is much more than just being down or feeling blue.

Child Behavioral Problem
All kids misbehave some times. And some may have temporary behavior problems due to stress. For example, the birth of a sibling, a divorce, or a death in the family may cause a child to act out. Behavior disorders are more serious. They involve a pattern of hostile, aggressive, or disruptive behaviors for more than 6 months. The behavior is also not appropriate for the child’s age.
Signs and symptom’s of Child Behavioral Problem
- Harming or threatening themselves, other people or pets
- Damaging or destroying property
- Lying or stealing
- Not doing well in school, skipping school
- Early smoking, drinking or drug use
- Early sexual activity
- Frequent tantrums and arguments
- Consistent hostility towards authority figures
